Monroe scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 17-10 to the Adrian Maples. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Maples earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Adrian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will face off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Adrian, they will venture away from home to face off against Tecumseh at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Maples are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
