Soccer Game Preview: South Williamsport vs. Montoursville

The South Williamsport Mountaineers will take on the Montoursville Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Williamsport will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

South Williamsport's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Columbia Montour Vo-Tech. The result was nothing new for South Williamsport, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Columbia Montour Vo-Tech from everywhere, as 11 different players booted in a goal. Coco Kline led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Montoursville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. Neither they nor Warrior Run could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept Montoursville happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 23rd.

Montoursville's draw makes their record 6-6-2 this season. As for South Williamsport, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-2.
