Reno is 9-1 against Galena since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Reno didn't have quite enough to beat McQueen and fell 3-2. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Reno actually scored more points across those five sets (110-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 25-23, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Galena came up short against Douglas last Thursday, falling 3-0.

Galena was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Douglas work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Reno's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Galena, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything went Reno's way against Galena in their previous matchup back in August, as Reno made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
