Basketball Recap: Our Lady of the Lakes Comes Up Short

Our Lady of the Lakes lost against Genesee Christian back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers were outmatched by the Genesee Christian Soldiers and fell 56-9. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Soldiers are ranked 94th).

Our Lady of the Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Genesee Christian, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

As of now, neither Our Lady of the Lakes nor Genesee Christian have any future games scheduled.
