Midlothian has gone 9-1 against Monacan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Midlothian will be playing in front of their home fans against Monacan at 5:00 p.m. Midlothian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Midlothian got the win against Clover Hill by a conclusive 13-5.

Marlee Gaskell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Erika Fiege and Bella Moussa did most of the damage at the plate: Fiege scored four runs while going 4-for-5, while Moussa scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits Moussa has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Fiege, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Midlothian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clover Hill only posted a batting average of .241.
Meanwhile, Monacan lost 9-3 to Cosby on Tuesday. The Chiefs have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
Monacan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Wilcheck, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Midlothian's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Monacan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went Midlothian's way against Monacan when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Midlothian made off with a 12-0 win. Will Midlothian repeat their success, or does Monacan has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
