Ardsley and Westlake are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Ardsley was able to grind out a solid victory over Nanuet, taking the game 27-14. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Golden Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Westlake hadn't done well against Byram Hills recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wildcats blew past the Bobcats 42-14. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

The victory got Ardsley back to even at 1-1. As for Westlake, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Ardsley couldn't quite finish off Westlake when the teams last played back in September of 2024 and fell 18-16. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
