Basketball Recap: Watonga Gets the Win

Watonga won the last time they faced Crescent and things went their way on Saturday too. The Watonga Eagles secured a 45-41 W over the Crescent Tigers.

Crescent lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aja Adams-House, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave Adams-House a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Trinity Webster, who put up 13 points and six boards.

Watonga's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Crescent, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Watonga didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-34 loss against Seiling on the 27th. As for Crescent, they will square off against Okarche at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Okarche will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Crescent surely won't give up without a fight.
