Football Recap: New Castle Starts Season with Victory Against Penn Hills + How To Watch

New Castle gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 12-0 win over the Penn Hills Indians. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hurricanes' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Indians are ranked 56th).

Marino Graham threw for 79 yards and one touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes. Kai Cox was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards. On the ground, Roderick Proctor rushed for 29 yards.

New Castle is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Penn Hills, they will host Woodland Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
