Softball Recap: Nueva Esperanza's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Nueva Esperanza was the 19-1 winner over Constitution when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Nueva Esperanza took a 20-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Constitution Generals on Thursday.

Nueva Esperanza's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Constitution, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Nueva Esperanza will look to defend their home field on March 27th against Girard Academic Music Program at 3:15 p.m. This will be Girard Academic Music Program's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Constitution, they will square off against Northeast at 3:15 p.m. on March 27th.
