Overlake is 9-1 against University Prep since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Owls will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pumas at 5:45 p.m. Overlake will be strutting in after a win while University Prep will be coming in after a loss.

Overlake took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Bear Creek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Owls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Meanwhile, University Prep didn't have quite enough to beat Eastside Prep on Monday and fell 3-2.

University Prep now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Overlake, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Overlake couldn't quite get it done against University Prep in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Owls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
