While Carlos Ruano delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Foothill. Ruano wasn't messing around, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The contest was his sixth straight with at least one stolen base.

Even though Ruano couldn't lead Foothill over Arvin, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Ruano's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Trojans' five-game streak of wins on the road.
