Soccer Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Marion it sure didn't stay that way.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Governor's School for Science & Math, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will challenge Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Governor's School for Science & Math, they will take on Trinity Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
