The Harrison Central Huskies will head out to face off against the Brooke Bruins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harrison Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Harrison Central made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Brooke, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Huskies blew past the Bruins 13-7 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their one-run performance the match before.

Emma Skinner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kelsey Powers, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Harrison Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brooke struck out seven times.

Brooke is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. As for Harrison Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
