Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Rockland). They put the hurt on the Mount Vernon Knights with a sharp 22-0 victory on Wednesday.

North Rockland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Mount Vernon, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

North Rockland has already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against Clarkstown on the 25th. As for Mount Vernon, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yonkers at 4:30 p.m. on May 3.
