Flag Football Recap: Weston Ranch Comes Up Short

Weston Ranch extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Monday, dropping them down to 0-8. They fell 13-6 to the McNair Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 739th, while the Eagles are ranked 261st).

As for McNair, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.5 points over those games.

McNair's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Haley Her, who threw for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
