Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Crenshaw

The Jordan Bulldogs will take on the Crenshaw Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Jordan's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Jordan didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-12-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged Hawkins out 2-1 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one goal.

Brayn Rivera and Christian Gonzalez scored both of Jordan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Crenshaw made sure to put some goals up on the board against George Washington Prep on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Generals. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by four goals or more this season.

Crenshaw now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
