Softball Recap: Mary Help of Christians Academy Drops Season-High Score on Palisades Park

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mary Help of Christians Academy). They never let the Palisades Park Tigers get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Mary Help of Christians Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Palisades Park, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Mary Help of Christians Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Ridgefield Memorial on the 20th. As for Palisades Park, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Elmwood Park on the 20th.
