Cache had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Eisenhower Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Cache were shut out 9-0 the last time they took on Eisenhower, so Cache were just returning the favor.

Looking ahead, Cache will square off against Elgin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eisenhower, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Weatherford on the 28th.
