League recap: West Elk rolls against St. Paul

South Central Border (8 Man) recap September 10, 2013

West Elk took down St. Paul 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tristen Wilson threw for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 18 yards in the win.

Caldwell led South Central Border (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 59 points on Central.

Nolan Williams was the best receiver in the league this week as Udall defeated Argonia/Attica. Williams tallied 5 receptions for 99 yards. Cody Waggoner helped Udall's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 42 yards.

Alex Perez was a passing and rushing force as the Eagles bested the Titans. He completed 10 passes for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 39 yards.

Gus McAdam threw for 82 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Armando Gomez was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 103 yards on 9 carries as the Patriots defeated Argonia/Attica. Teammate Dominic Defalco added to the ground attack by rushing for 39 yards.

McAdam put up the best numbers in passing as Cedar Vale/Dexter bested Flinthills.

Leading South Central Border (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards, Wyatt Williams' team's Perez and Williams have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Perez has thrown for 170 yards this season, while Williams has 5 catches for 99 yards. West Elk's Gomez leads the league in rushing yards with 103.

The Eagles are currently in second, while the Bluejays are in fifth.

The Raiders fell from seventh to 10th in the league, the largest drop in the standings this week. The drop came about by way of a 59-14 loss to Caldwell during the week.
