South Harrison extended the longest winning streak in Grand River this week by beating Maysville, 56-19. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Princeton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Tigers vanquished Braymer 54-14 earlier in the week.
Colton Hartley and Colton Hartley gave Princeton a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Hartley threw for 318 yards and six touchdowns, while Hartley ran for 233 yards. Teammate Taylon Place added to the ground attack by rushing for 78 yards.
Kaid Hendren was the best wideout in the league this week as South Harrison bested the Wolverines. Hendren tallied nine receptions for 143 yards. Corby Clark helped South Harrison's passing attack out by catching four balls for 86 yards.
Caleb Obert's team's Dylan Heitz and Hendren have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Grand River in both passing and receiving yards. Heitz has thrown for 1591 yards this season, while Hendren has 42 catches for 819 yards. John Goodin's team's Hartley leads the league in rushing yards with 1258.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when King City takes on the Bulldogs. The Wildkats are in sixth place, while South Harrison is in first place.
Gallatin took down Albany 62-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob Boyd threw for 57 yards and one touchdown, ran for 43 yards and caught one passes for 70 yards in the win.
