Soccer Recap: South Columbus Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Columbus can now relate to. They came up short against Southwest Onslow on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, South Columbus hasn't been shut out since back in April.

South Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Southwest Onslow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3-3.

South Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest Onslow, they will host Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holmes will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Southwest Onslow surely won't give up without a fight.
