Manteo hadn't done well against Northside - Pinetown recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Redskins walked away with a 5-1 win over the Panthers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 10-5 win back in March.

The team relied heavily on Bella Huntingford, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Bridgett Berry, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.
