Homer's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Josue Munoz

Thanks in part to Josue Munoz, Homer said goodbye to their six-game losing streak. On Friday Munoz picked up 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 59 yards.

This season, Munoz has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 18.5 passing yards per game.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Sam Hass. Hass was unstoppable, throwing for 104 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 71 yards on only eight carries.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Pender at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
