Softball Recap: Miami Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Westland Hialeah last Tuesday, Miami Springs came back down to earth. Miami Springs lost 17-2 to the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones on Thursday.

Miami Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Rivero, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Miami Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Miami Springs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-0 defeat against Braddock on the 13th. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-8 loss against Ferguson on the 13th.
