 The Broughton Capitals are taking a road trip to  take on the Wakefield Wolverines  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Broughton's defense has only allowed 11.6  points per game  this season, so Wakefield's offense will have their work cut out for them.
On Thursday, Broughton was able to grind out a solid  victory over Rolesville, taking the game  18-7.
Meanwhile, Wakefield's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's 12th consecutive shutout  on Monday. They blew past Green Hope, posting  a  33-0 win. Considering the Wolverines have won 12 contests by more than 19  points this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
Broughton better keep an eye on  Quinn Pope. She was instrumental in Wakefield's win, rushing for 44 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, while also throwing for 104 yards and two  TDs. That's the most  rushing yards  Pope has posted  over her last seven  matchups.
 One reason for the win was Wakefield's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks.  Jamiya Hodge was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two herself.  Brenna Colleran got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Broughton's victory  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 6-7. As for Wakefield, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.
