Beaver Dam is 10-0 against DeForest since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Beaver Dam Golden Beavers will head out on the road to square off against the DeForest Norskies at 7:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Beaver Dam is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Waunakee, who was ranked 18th at the time (Beaver Dam was ranked 13th). Beaver Dam took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waunakee on Friday. The Golden Beavers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, DeForest unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 56-47 loss to Monona Grove.

DeForest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Beaver Dam, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.

Beaver Dam was able to grind out a solid victory over DeForest when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 52-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beaver Dam since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
