Softball Recap: Monroe Central Wins Going Away Against Shadyside

Monroe Central barely beat Shadyside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Seminoles blew past the Tigers 13-4 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Seminoles.

The team relied heavily on Jadyn Miller, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Monroe Central's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-9. As for Shadyside, they moved to 10-8 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
