Baseball Recap: Thornwood Comes Up Short

Thornwood lost against Bloom on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Blazing Trojan, falling 7-1. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Derrion Howard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Thornwood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Bloom, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for another result: the Blazing Trojan was given a win via forfeit against Thornwood on Friday.
