Baseball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Columbus

Columbus had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Winona Tigers. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Columbus' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Winona, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
