Soccer Game Preview: Narbonne vs. Banning

The Narbonne Gauchos will square off against the Banning Pilots at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Narbonne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Last Friday, Narbonne made easy work of Gardena and carried off a 4-1 win. Bryan Maldonado was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Banning entered their matchup against Carson on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Banning fell 2-0 to Carson. The shutout was out of character for the Pilots seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Narbonne's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four contests. As for Banning, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4-2.
