Pinedale faced Powell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wranglers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Panthers. The win was nothing new for the Wranglers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading Pinedale to victory were Remedios Mata and Erin Murphy. Mata had 13 digs, while Murphy had five digs and three aces. What's more, Murphy posted four kills, the most she's had since back in September. Shaye Mills also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Pinedale's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Powell, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11-1.

Pinedale has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Cody on the 10th. As for Powell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Lyman on the 10th.
