Basketball Recap: Harleton Comes Up Short

Harleton won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the McLeod Longhorns and fell 50-22. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since November 26th.

Harleton's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for McLeod, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-15 record.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Harleton Wildcats face off against the Union Grove Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McLeod will take on Big Sandy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Big Sandy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three games.
