Softball Game Preview: Kennebunk Rams vs. Windham Eagles

Kennebunk is 1-7 against Windham since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rams will square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kennebunk is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Gorham on Wednesday. They fell 5-1 to Gorham.

Jessica Hogue was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Windham came up short against Gorham on Monday and fell 10-5.

Kennebunk's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Windham, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Kennebunk couldn't quite get it done against Windham in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 as they fell 4-0. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
