Basketball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thunder Ridge came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 69-40 loss at the hands of the Eagle Mustangs. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.

Despite the defeat, Thunder Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kayla Kunz went 5-for-6 on her way to 12 points and seven boards. Allie Nielson was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Thunder Ridge's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Eagle, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Thunder Ridge has already played their next game, a 34-32 defeat against Rocky Mountain on the 21st. As for Eagle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-30 win against Madison on the 21st.
