Volleyball Recap: Poca Beats Buffalo for Their Third Straight Win

Poca hadn't done well against Buffalo recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Dots put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Dots as they're now sitting on three straight.

While Poca won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-15.

Poca found their leader in sophomore Christiana Childers, who had seven digs and two aces.

Poca's victory bumped their record up to 21-1-4. As for Buffalo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poca will challenge Wahama at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buffalo, they will square off against James Monroe at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
