Softball Recap: Gaston Christian Eagles vs. Lincoln Charter Eagles
Gaston Christian won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 13-1 walloping at the hands of the Lincoln Charter Eagles.
Gaston Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Muchesko, who went 1-for-3 with a home run.
On Lincoln Charter's side, Mallie Courson made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits.
