After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Park Tudor, Providence Cristo Rey was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 24-11 margin over the Indianapolis Washington Continentals. The Wolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Merli Portillo was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Jazzy Mejia was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with seven stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Providence Cristo Rey kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win got Providence Cristo Rey back to even at 3-3. As for Indianapolis Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
