South Shelby came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Scotland County Tigers as they made off with a 73-49 win. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

South Shelby is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Scotland County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
