Mohawk extended their home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Hayven Croce. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Eddyville Eagles 3-2 for which the team can thank Croce, who had 17 aces and 12 digs. She also posted an assist, marking her first of the season.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Mohawk got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 26-28, 25-16, 20-25, 15-12.
Mohawk now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Eddyville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
