Volleyball Recap: Gold-Burg Falls to Olney in First Game of Season

Gold-Burg kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Olney Cubs. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15.

Olney's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Gold-Burg will challenge Woodson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olney, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Santo on the 15th.
