Avery waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They breezed past the Sulphur Bluff Bears to the tune of 65-27. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 52-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears cut but never quite recovered from.

Avery's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points over those games. As for Sulphur Bluff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-17.
