Stanton is 9-1 against Riverside since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Stanton Blue Devils will face off against the Riverside Generals at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Stanton lost 12-2 to Paxon School For Advanced Studies on Thursday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Stanton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dan Exline, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against Orange Park on Thursday, falling 13-2. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colin Dubose and Theodore Whittle stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dubose went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run, while Whittle scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That triple marked the first that Dubose hit this season.

Stanton's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Stanton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. However, it's not like Riverside struggles in that department as they've averaged .508. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Stanton took their win against Riverside in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 18-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stanton since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
