It was a good run, but Farmville Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Ayden - Grifton Chargers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Farmville Central was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Madison Denham paced Farmville Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Denham got some help from Isabella Cox and her five assists.
