Football Recap: Cabarrus S Comes Up Short

Cabarrus S had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Cincinnati Eagles and fell 31-0.

Jordan Jacobson had an outrageously good game for Cincinnati as he rushed for 163 yards and one TD while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Jacobson showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 62 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacoby Mooneyhan, who threw for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only five passes.

Cabarrus S will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hickory Grove Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Cincinnati, they will challenge Atlas HomeSchool at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
