Eastern had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clarksville Generals on Thursday. The Musketeers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Eastern was led to victory by Addison Smith and Eliza Starrett. Smith hit 100% for eight kills and six aces and one block, while Starrett had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most kills Smith has posted over her last six matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Eastern was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Eastern's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Clarksville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-27.

Looking ahead, Eastern will take on Paoli at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Clarksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
