Soccer Recap: Beddingfield Comes Up Short

Beddingfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goldsboro Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Beddingfield have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Yuliana Ugalde Carbajal, which was the first she's scored this season.

Beddingfield's record now sits at 3-9. As for Goldsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8-3.

Looking ahead, Beddingfield will head out to face off against North Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Johnston will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Beddingfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Goldsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Goldsboro's defense better be ready for this one: Princeton have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season.
