While Chaparral's victory against Belton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chaparral Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Belton Tigers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in February.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Belton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral will square off against Ellison at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Belton, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Belton face off against Waco at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Waco has ten straight wins, Belton has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.
