Volleyball Recap: Forge Christian Comes Up Short

Forge Christian and Sterling squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Forge Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Despite the defeat, Forge Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bella Tiner had 14 digs and two assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Tiner.

Forge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Sterling, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Forge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sterling, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against The Classical Academy on the 15th.
