Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 95-51, which was the final score in the Grace Christian Academy Rams's tilt against the Ballard Bruins on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 170th in Tennessee, while the Bruins are ranked 21st in Kentucky).

Grace Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Ballard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Grace Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Providence Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Ballard will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
