Baseball Recap: Wake County HomeSchool Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Wake County HomeSchool ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Ellington, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Seth Pennica, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
